About Newton Fernandes

With roots spanning across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, Newton is a commercial marketing leader with experience gained at global brands in the hotels, airlines, hospitality, travel, tourism, and fintech startups. More recently, Newton served in the UK Government as a member of Her Majesty Queen' Elisabeth II’s Civil Service - driving strategic communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives to boost London’s brand awareness as a tourism destination.

Newton holds an Executive Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategy, Change Management & Leadership from the University of Bristol - a Top 10 UK university. His research into marketing capabilities and their role in driving transformational change in organisations led to him being awarded a distinction by the University.

Newton offers interim or longer-term advisory and consultancy services to clients under the umbrella of ‘Multi’ - a strategic commercial marketing solution to help businesses navigate complex challenges.

Newton speaks regularly at key events to influence the next generation of marketing and commercial leaders entering the EMEA marketing community.

To support the industry’s future talent pipeline, Newton is a member of the PR & Marketing Advisory Committee at Springboard - the UK charity that supports disadvantaged people to gain employment within the hospitality, travel, and tourism industry .

Newton maintains an active presence as a Member of the Institute of Hospitality (MIH) and a delegate in attendance at Master Innholders (MI) events.
